Glamboree (28th May 2007) - More than 2,000 people visited Glamboree '07, the Area's centenary camp at Tredegar House over the Whitsun holiday weekend. This was the biggest camp in CATVOG's history, and included representatives from all but four Groups in the Area.

Area Linking Weekend (15th October 2006) - A fantastic linking weekend where 134 Scout/Explorer/Network members were on camp. Saturday was a day of water activities at Channel View and Cosmeston with Sunday being split with the Scouts and Explorers enjoying shooting, archery, bungee running and crate climbing. The older Explorers and Network had a night hike before getting completely messy with their activity bases on the Sunday.

Area Linking Day (8th October 2006) - A linking funday for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts in the Area with a variety adventurous activities on offer for all to have a go. The day finished with birthday cake for the Beaver and Cub anniverssaries.

Olympic Target Rifle Shooting Competition (24th September 2006) - The first annual CATVOG olympic target rifle took place at Jubilee fields with over 140 participants it was great success.

Area AGM 2006 (6th June 2006) - The Area Annual General took pace at Techniquest, Cardiff Bay and here is what everyone got up to!

Explorer Camp 05 (15th October 2005) - Almost 80 teenagers from Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan enjoyed an action-packed weekend of adventure at the first Explorer Scout camp to unite the area.

Day in the Bay 05 (25th September 2005) - From all reaches of the Area; Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers descended on Cardiff Bay to take part in an action packed Day in the Bay, part of the build up to the centenary of Scouting
